Too many who love the sport of fishing its a challenge that draws the attention. But some take their families and allow their children to play dangerously close to the rivers edge. Anyone can fall into the rapid current and drown. It only takes three seconds. EMS personnel are warning people not to swim or fish becuase they are very busy and are not going to leave another dangerous spot to go and pull someone of the river that has been warned. Don't go around those barricades. They are there for a purpose.
